   The Purpose of This Website

    What I Noticed

After 27 years as an insurance adjuster—and 21 years before that as a contractor—I saw a consistent pattern: many homeowners were not receiving the full value they were entitled to under their insurance claims. I also saw that many capable contractors lacked the insurance-claims knowledge needed to work smoothly with carriers.

  • Estimates that were too high or too low because key claim requirements were overlooked

  • Bids that weren’t detailed enough for the carrier to review and approve

  • Pricing disputes that dragged on because expectations weren’t clearly communicated

  • Unnecessary delays caused by gaps in documentation and follow-up

What I’m Building (and Who It’s For)

When I retired from adjusting, I made a commitment to create a practical resource to help both homeowners and contractors navigate insurance claims with confidence. The goal is simple: improve communication, set clear expectations, and help people receive a fair, well-supported settlement.

This website is a work in progress, and I’ll continue adding tools, examples, and guidance as the content grows.
